This website (and it's hints) will give you access to 15 years of hindsight from a seasoned CRM Database Manager, Simon McNidder. Simon has specialised in CRM databases and Direct Marketing and has worked within the finance, software and professional service industries.
This website, with it's free hints and tips for anyone involved with CRM databases, was set up because Simon found that every time he spoke to people in the same sort of work, one thing jumped out as a common theme. Everyone had the same problems and issues with their CRM databases, systems and processes. And he thought his hindsight and practical advice could help. that and when his father died, he realised a lot of knowledge is held by each person - so lets share that knowledge to make the world a slightly better place to live and work in. The hints & tips you sign up to are as relevant to a huge organisation as they are to a small firm. You may also see some Google adverts on the page. Simon is currently the Global CRM Database Manager at a Top 15 UK law firm, and previously worked for one of the big four Accountancy firms. He's won two marketing awards (a LEMA, and an 'all industries' CRM award), and has developed database, data and direct marketing strategies, implemented brand new databases, and integrated users from three mergers into a current system.
Simon has a Masters degree in Marketing and a degree in Business. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing, has written numerous articles on CRM issues for various publications, and hosted CRM related events. Simon is also Chairman of the UK West Midlands PM Forum (an association dedicated to raising marketing standards in professional services). In addition, he Chaired the committee tasked with developing a Professional Services Digital Diploma at Cambridge Marketing College.
